October Update

Lanchester Exhibition Saturday 19th and Sunday 20 October 2019

My board -sold three framed - Staithes Slipway, Chocolate Zebra and York Walls - one unframed from the browser - Staithes

My brothers Trevor and Graham visited the exhibition - Trevor was on holiday from South Africa.

The three of us 60+ years ago, Photo from Trevor. We must have been holding Father up from going to the pub.

Sunday climb to Latterbarrow and back passed High Tock How

 Monday walk from cottage to Knipe Fold down into Hawkshead and the bus back.

Tuesday bus to and from Ambleside.

 Wednesday drove to car park at Esthwaite Water and walked to Near and Far Sawrey

 and back thro the woods passed Dub How Farm.

 Final day Thursday walk to Colthouse and onto Hawkshead and bus back to Outgate.

Entered this sketch page in ' paint the seaside ' competition on the Painters Online website and was selected as the winner. The prize was a set of watercolour pencil and graphite pencils - both I don't use so I'll give them to the grandchildren.

Morning walk to the Shambles and Minster Gates

Walk along the Ouse and the Foss to the Minster

Walk into York along the south wall and over the Lendal Bridge to the Minster and back through the small streets.

Monday misty morning walk to Exhibition Square

Afternoon walk to Rowntree Park across the Millenium Bridge and along the North Wall.

Tuesday morning walk to Micklegate for a paper and back along Skeldergate.

Back to Micklegate and along the riverside to the railway brige and on  to Bootham Bar.
