Outdoor Sketching at Dunbar and finished painting

 

Sketch from over the drawbridge on my stool with my back to the rock outcrop using a black pen on a 20x16 inch canvas board. Inset shows the view. It was getting cold so I returned to the cottage.

Some coloured tissue added to the buildings and dressmaking patterns to the harbour area.

Returned later in the day to photograph the returning fishing boats. Our cottage was just to the left of the orange buoy up the steps.

The finished painting by adding the boats, lobster pots and just indicate some detail along the quayside.

How to use Instagram from a PC

First, download the Instagram app- All steps are highlighted in yellow

Install your account - cannot give you a link as it just opens up my account

Right-click at the right-hand side and select --- inspect

Choose a phone type from the list

Click on the bar at the top to turn it blue

then enter

A plus sign appears at the bottom select to a picture then add comments.

Add tag so people can find similar posts ie

#dogs #dogpaintings etc

If they have been used they will appear in the drop-down box.

If you want a friend to see your post add

@malcolmcoilsart

You cannot enter multiple pictures unless you a special app.
