Random coloured tissue from Hobbycraft glued to canvas board with PVA glue
.

Image drawn with fine waterproof pen then heavier lines added with a black Sharpie.

Extra tissue used to define the structure and sealed with acrylic matt medium.
Does it need acrylic glazes to give it more depth?

20 x 16 inch canvas board from Jacksons at £2.60 each when buying 10..

Elvet Bridge from Old Elvet

Random pieces of coloured tissue paper and newsprint stuck on to a 20x16 canvas block
and the edges soften with white acrylic at the top and burnt sienna at the base using a small roller.
Detail added with black pen.
Glazing added to give more depth. Quite happy with the result but without the newsprint- I think this is my way forward using transparent washes and not opaque paint.
