Scarborough holiday

Holiday in Appleby last year

Drawings during the lockdown

 
Staithes composite drawing is taken from individual photos square on to each building and being such a narrow street I could not see the roof lines. This information I gleaned from photos taken from high points around the village. Also useful was Google street view who had a backpack camera walk through the village as part of the Cleveland Way. This is in an A2 Sketchbook which I cut in half lengthways.

Holiday in Outgate near Hawkshead Cumbria

Sketches from Notebook 3 in black biro.


Cottages in Outgate

 Saturday walk into Hawkshead and back.
Sunday climb to Latterbarrow and back passed High Tock How



 Monday walk from cottage to Knipe Fold down into Hawkshead and the bus back.
Tuesday bus to and from Ambleside.



 Wednesday drove to car park at Esthwaite Water and walked to Near and Far Sawrey
 and back thro the woods passed Dub How Farm.
 Final day Thursday walk to Colthouse and onto Hawkshead and bus back to Outgate.

Week in St Abbs Berwickshire Scotland

Started keeping a diary with thumbnail sketches done in Biro instead of the detail pencil drawings      ( although I did do 4 pencil drawings).
