Crook Hall painting in the gardens with Deerness Art Group

Walked into Durham and started at 10 am with Paoi, Margaret and Deryck in the Georgian walled garden. First an outline sketch in biro in my new notebook. Weather overcast with just a few spots of rain.

Then rough outline on 1/4 imperial Bockingford not paper then pen work on the building.
Watercolour washes to complete the mornings work. Finished at 12.20.

 Deryck using acrylics on canvas.

Paoi working on an interesting collage using a Smyths catalogue from the toy shop.

Margaret doing her usual work with foliage using masking fluid - Gone for lunch.

Left the others to finish their work and walked home after an abortive attempt to catch the bus. The 64 service in Durham just gets worse and worse.

Hello Malcolm
I stumbled across a glorious painting of yours of Dunstaburgh from the beach. I was hoping to contact you regarding any other similar works with a view to purchasing one. My email is rosemonde.stuart@gmail.com

Hi Malcom, I saw one of your water colours of a cottage with Coquet Island in the background.I was wondering if you still have it and if it is for sale.
